A boutique hotel concept imagined as a retreat in the heart of Barcelona. The project draws on the city’s rhythm, its light, architecture, and Mediterranean ease while embracing a refined, design-led identity. Every detail was considered to balance the warmth of hospitality with the precision of contemporary branding, resulting in a space that feels both rooted and aspirational.

Color Palette

Reflective of Barcelona’s layered character, where the sea meets stone and history meets the contemporary, the Casa Galera palette is at once grounded and expressive. Each tone carries the warmth of the Mediterranean, tempered by cooler notes that bring balance and refinement. Together, they create a visual language that feels intimate, textured, and timeless.

The palette adapts fluidly across contexts. It appears bolder in print and tactile applications, where materiality is key, and more restrained in digital executions, where photography and atmosphere take precedence. It is this balance of richness and restraint that allows the identity to feel distinctly Barcelona: expressive yet composed, rooted yet inviting.

Structural Echoes

Barcelona’s architecture carries a rhythm that is both historic and modern, where arches, lines, and geometric patterns shape the city’s identity. Structural Echoes draws from these elements, translating them into a set of distinctive forms that become part of the Casa Galera visual language.

These shapes are used to frame content, highlight imagery, and create continuity across print and digital touchpoints. More than decoration, they act as subtle reminders of the city’s design heritage, bringing a sense of place into the brand’s everyday communication.
